Elizabeth and I raked up the leaves from our maple tree yesterday. Wanna see what we woke up to?! Here ya go...
Elizabeth's comment...."Get me the chainsaw!"

Here's Elizabeth in the maple tree yesterday (when she still liked it):

This is the pumpkin Elizabeth carved last night. We were working over at our other house and our FABULOUS neighbors invited us over for dinner and pumpkin carving. It was one of those completely unplanned events that was really fun and just what I needed!
Well - all for now...I better get started on the rest of my day.
Happy Fall!

BUDDY! Get off my pillow! Yes, our 95 lb puppy slept in the tent too.
So, that was our big camp-out. Must say...it was awfully nice to go inside and make coffee with a coffee maker in morning....no Coleman stove or campfire to fight with. And this campsite even came with a dishwasher!
All for now - see ya at the next post!

Fall color in the front yard.
The crew's here and ready to lay the new floor. Top to bottom, we have Lizzie, Paul and Buddy. That's me - behind the camera.
How DOES he get any work done?! Could this be the reason we are so far behind?
Wa-La....zee bamboo floor. There's the fireplace we sandblasted - THAT was an adventure! The splotches on the wall? It's the latest paint trend..called Modern Indecisive!
Here's what the living room looked like before we tore it apart. This picture just doesn't do justice to the cold gray feeling it had.
This way to the deck. Watch your step! That white plastic lattice might be the only thing holding it together....better get the duct tape!
All for now.....see you at Post #3
Ahh....the house....the second house.....the beautiful "pink" 70's daylight basement house. That's the yard after I removed about 500 of those small-ish, "pink" retaining wall bricks. Yep, me, I moved 'em all - 6 at a time with the wheelbarrow.
These are the bricks as I found them.
They have been laid to rest...in my driveway. They will soon be listed for sale on Craigslist....75 cents each - interested?
I have more pictures.....for post #2 coming up shortly....can't seem to add them to this one.
